For more than 30 years, I have passionately advocated for patients as a Registered Nurse across a wide range of healthcare settings. My experience in physician offices, home health care, occupational health, and as a nurse educator—along with hospital roles in medical-surgical, telemetry, oncology, and intensive care—has given me a deep understanding of the healthcare system and its impact on patients and their families.

I later expanded that perspective through case management roles working with hospitals, insurance companies, state agencies, and families. In these roles, I witnessed firsthand how insurance requirements and cost considerations can sometimes take precedence over what may be the best medical outcome for a patient.

Through all of these experiences, one truth has remained clear: financial resources certainly matter in healthcare—but informed planning, diligent research, persistence, and strong advocacy often make the greatest difference.

My mission is to help individuals and families plan ahead for healthcare in retirement so they can navigate the system with greater confidence, clarity, and protection.
